The Systems Committee of the California Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) on Early Intervention has been reviewing the status of use of private insurance by families within Early Start. It became clear we needed to hear from families regarding their experiences.
A short confidential survey in English and Spanish has been developed to collect data regarding this critical service delivery issue. Please take a moment and share this information with the families you interact with or complete the survey to participate.
Disability Vote California aims to get every eligible Californian with a disability to vote. A large part of this project involves training regional teams of volunteers about the specific rights and needs that people with disabilities have with regards to voting. The trainings are a series of free webinars that can be attended by phone or online from anywhere in the state. To stay informed and participate in the trainings, simply sign up to become a leader.

Adult-at-Risk Information Card Program This FREE program provides Adult-at-Risk cards for the community members served by Tri-Counties Regional Center. A card will be provided for those at-risk, as well as one for their family caregiver. The Adult-at-Risk Information Card includes a photograph and other identifying information to assist law enforcement in locating an at-risk adult in the event that they become disoriented, lost or are in need of medical assistance. This program is geared towards Camarillo residents, but is open to any resident of the County. "Walk-in-Wednesday" is available the third Wednesday of each month, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Camarillo Police Station Community Room. Please call for more information: (805) 388.1952. The Lanterman Coalition The State Council is a member of the Lanterman Coalition and supporting it's campaign “10 for 10”- 10 reasons for a 10% across-the-board funding increase now for the DD system, and 5% increases yearly, until funding for provider rates and regional center services is reformed.
